Welcome to Artistic Adventures!

We opened the studio in 2002 to provide art classes and pottery classes in an environment that provides personal attention. Our mission is to be a studio for success! We achieve this with impassioned teachers and small classes. Our shared learning philosophy is low student-teacher ratios. Our students progress quickly with our highly interactive instruction. Most of our classes have six or fewer students. We don't want our students to sit in frustration. We want them to relax and thrive!

A message from the Owner:

Art is a journey into the soul. It brings us to a heightened awareness of what lies within us and provides an escape from every day stresses. I discovered the full meaning of this 30 years ago, when I first experienced clay. After two hours of “playing in the mud”, I was completely relaxed. All I could think about was how to make something out of the lump of clay in front of me. I didn’t think about the stressful traffic on the way to class or the 20 things that were added to my daily "to-do" list. I escaped from everything! I didn’t realize it at the time, but I had started my journey into my soul. Then, some really great by products started. After crashing several pots, I learned patience I had never had. I was reminded of how little control we have over anything in this world, and if we surrender we move to a level of peace and contentment too often overshadowed by life. I learned that if I can take a crashed vessel and turn it into something of great beauty, I can also take a bad day or a life challenge and find many positives. Finally, I overcame my inner beliefs that I had no real artistic talent. We all have it; we just haven’t taken the opportunity or been in the right environment to find it! We hope you will visit our “retreat” to experience the many by products of art. Our unique, talented and impassioned teachers are ready to start you on your journey into your soul.

Blessings, Jayme
